i also really love how this captures aomori seiran as a team–people who want to evolve. with that goal in mind, they're able to fearlessly execute such a tricky tactic in a game with high stakes against a top-level team. nothing will change unless you do something new. 2

i like how clamp sets up an ominous tone in this scene like i love that grey-black-white in the last panel where u can tell that lying is her bad habit but it's kind of vague if it's an unconscious or conscious decision. tho i feel habitual lying becomes unconscious over time 2
